  • Everyone is welcome at Sensory Wellness. We work to create a safe, inclusive space in our clinic. Our work recognises everyone’s health journey is different, and what people need to heal and improve their health is part of a larger, holistic environment.

    In order to ensure the clinic remains a safe space for everyone, we will not engage with our patients on potentially divisive topics such as COVID-19 vaccination conspiracies, politics or any topics of a sexual nature. If this policy is not respected, we may end treatment early or ask you to leave the clinic.

    Please treat our practitioners with kindness.We will not tolerate abusive behaviour toward any of our practitioners.

  • We require 22 hours notice to cancel an appointment without a fee.

    • More than 22 hours notice: no charge for cancelling your appointment.

    • Less than 22 hours notice: 50% of the massage therapy fee.

    • No shows or subsequent late cancellations: 100% of the massage therapy fee.

    • Cancellation fees cannot be direct billed to extended health insurance.

    If you need to cancel your appointment and it’s less than 22 hours notice, you are welcome to send a friend, co-worker, family member, partner or neighbour in your place. If the spot fills, we will waive the fee.

    This cancellation policy is necessary for our small business to continue to serve our patients in need of treatment. Thank you for your understanding.

    Please understand your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation does not provide enough time for a practitioner to fill the time with another patient. We require 22 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment to avoid a late cancelation feet. We can no longer offer exceptions due to illness.

    We can no longer afford to make exceptions due to illness or any other personal reason; however, your practitioner may choose to reduce the fee in certain circumstances to a minimum of $15.

  • We offer direct insurance billing for most insurers. For this reason, we require a credit card on file and consent to bill that credit card for any outstanding fees, including cancellation fees.

    Credit card data is stored at the highest security standard. Once entered into the Jane App we use for all payments, only the last 4 digits are visible.
